First paid test with a prepaid wallet

Add funds before launch, set a daily cap, and let the campaign spend only what is available. No retainer and no invoice after the test. Agents request a hosted payment link.

A first paid test on a prepaid wallet means you add funds before launch, set a daily cap, and the account can only spend what is available. There is no retainer and no surprise invoice after the campaign.

Adprime Zero early access has a $0 monthly platform fee and a $100/day starter spend cap. Hosted Stripe Checkout is the production payment path. Agents can request a payment link. Card details are entered only on the provider page.

Why prepaid is the first-test shape

A first test is a learning budget, not a contract. You pick a daily number you can watch for a few days, fund at least enough to cover that cap plus a little runway, and stop by pausing or by letting the wallet empty. The daily cap is the control you will actually use. An optional lifetime cap, if you set one, is honoured exactly. If you omit it, the campaign can spend until it is paused or the prepaid balance is gone.

Do not treat "optional lifetime" as "one day of budget stored twice." That class of mix-up has already stopped campaigns when a lifetime field was filled with the daily number. If you want a small closed test, set the lifetime on purpose. If you want a multi-day cell, leave lifetime open and keep the daily cap honest.

What to fund for

Fund the hosted page for the test you wrote down, not for a year of media. A $20/day Cursor prompt exists in the launch playbook because that is a size a founder can judge without hiring anyone. The $100/day product cap is the early-access ceiling, not a recommendation.

After the first live day, read spend against the cap and against the prepaid balance. A campaign that shows auto_paused_daily_cap after spending its daily number is in a healthy enrolled state. It should resume after UTC midnight if balance remains. A campaign that is paused because the wallet is empty is a different stop. Auto-reload so tests do not die is how you avoid the second stop without sitting on the billing page.

What prepaid does not decide

Prepaid does not make remnant clicks into customers. It does not attach invalid-traffic measurement. It does not pick the landing page. Those are separate jobs. The wallet only answers "can this campaign still spend."

Refunds and payment-data rules are on the legal pages linked from Pricing. This guide will not restate wallet balances from any live account.

Open the test

  1. Sign up with the email code and finish the profile.
  2. Open billing and add funds, or let an agent create a funding intent you complete in the browser.
  3. Submit one ad and one matching page.
  4. Set the daily cap to the number you meant.
  5. Activate only when review and balance are ready.
