Reporting and traffic quality

Reports keep fast readings, delivery reporting, and your own conversions separate, so you can tell what is known, what is still syncing, and whether real people arrived.

Four meters, kept apart

Dashboard read
When Adprime Zero generated the response (generated_at). Not proof that delivery reporting is current.
Delivery reporting
Spend, impressions, and clicks from the exchange, synced hourly and about two hours behind.
Snapshot delivery
Fast spend and impression readings that keep your balance and daily cap current. They do not prove clicks.
Conversions
Events on your own site from Adprime Zero pixels or server postbacks, once an event is installed and linked to the campaign.

Collapsing them is how a live test looks like zero activity, or like a healthy campaign when it is not. Spend is never the sum of snapshot and reporting rows: they describe the same auctions.

Freshness before zero

Before calling a zero real, read freshness_status, metric_sources, and the reporting sync time that come with every performance answer. If impressions or spend exist and clicks are zero, freshness is the first thing to check and targeting is the last. A new ad can be approved and still take time to show up in reports, so never pick a winner from an hour of clicks.

Judge real visits, not click rate

Leftover display inventory produces billed clicks readily, and a high click-through rate on this kind of supply is more often automated clicking than a great audience. So Adprime Zero judges traffic on the first-party traffic grade: real visits to your page, bot traps, and engagement on it. Clicks piling up on a few sites is a warning sign.

Ad-verification scanners also fetch landing pages, so raw landing sessions are not all people. A fraud vendor's invalid-traffic number is a hint, and it reads zero until a vendor tag is on the ad. Conversions are the strongest signal once an event is installed: judge on conversions and cost per conversion, with ROAS shown as a multiple like 2.5x.

Finding wasted placements

The nightly traffic audit (Supply Audit, in beta) flags placements and sites that spent without bringing real visitors. Applying a finding creates a new targeting set without them and leaves the live campaign alone; point the next campaign at it (for example with copy_campaign) or the flagged supply keeps serving. Only a covered verdict means the scan actually reviewed your delivery. Apply a Supply Audit finding walks through it.

Where to read it

  • list_campaign_performance for the whole account, and get_campaign_performance or query_performance for one campaign.
  • get_campaign_conversion_signal for conversions, cost per conversion, and attribution confidence.
  • get_supply_audit_status and list_supply_audit_flags for wasted placements.
