Six angles we are willing to pay to learn

The first paid portfolio is six promises: AI chat, no sales call, builder workflow, autonomous operator, growth matrix, and API quickstart. Each angle is a question we will spend to answer, not a slogan to rotate.

AI chat ads versus no sales call is not one landing page with two headlines. They are two of six angles we are willing to pay to learn. Each angle is a strategic promise from the June 2026 copy plan. Each gets its own reporting rollup.

  • ai-chat-control: "Run ads from your AI chat."
  • no-friction-buying: "No sales call. No IO. Start the first test online."
  • builder-tool-workflow: "Launch a small ad test from Cursor or a coding agent."
  • autonomous-agent-operator: "Let AI run the ad buy."
  • growth-test-matrix: "Test creative, audience, and page together."
  • api-quickstart-intent: "A media buying API for your agent."

The question is which promise makes a technical founder, builder, agent operator, or small team take the next step. Mixing them on one homepage-style page is how you pay for an average.

What each angle is allowed to say

Use current product truth. Agents can create targeting, submit creatives, create campaigns, monitor, and iterate through public tools. One account reaches the dashboard, API, CLI, MCP, and AI-chat workflows. There is no DSP setup, no insertion order, no sales call, and no retainer before the first test.

Do not use retired framing. Do not promise guaranteed performance. Do not lead cold-buyer copy with DSP or exchange language unless the page is technical. api-quickstart-intent may name the API because that is the job. no-friction-buying should not.

How the first portfolio is supposed to be sized

The plan's recommended first-wave sizing, if budget allows: 6 angles, 3 campaign cells per angle, 18 cells. If budget is constrained: 2 cells per angle first (12 cells), then add the third after the first readout.

Each angle should get:

  • A control targeting cell.
  • An audience expansion cell.
  • An inventory or device cell.

That is method, not a claim that 18 cells have been judged. The angles are the questions we will spend on. A later Lab piece can say which promise moved signup or funding. This piece only names the six.

If an ad cannot be assigned to one of the six keys, it is not in this portfolio. Write a seventh key on purpose later if the evidence demands it. Do not sneak a seventh promise into a page that already carries one of these six.
