Deal

A packaged supply path with a deal ID, often a private marketplace or preferred arrangement. Not the open remnant firehose.

A deal is a specific path to inventory: a deal ID that a publisher, SSP, or curator offered, often with a floor or a private marketplace wrapper. You target that ID. You are not buying "the open exchange" when you do this.

Deals are trader work. Someone negotiated or accepted the package. Trafficking it onto a line item is not the same as creating an Adprime Zero campaign from Cursor. Our public first tests have flown open exchange. Child-seat deal use has been historically empty even when deals existed elsewhere in the Beeswax world. Do not invent a deal ID in a prompt.

A first $20/day isolated funnel does not need a deal. A brand that already bought a package might. That is the fork in when you still want a trader.

Reporting should still separate clicks, visits, and IVT. A deal is not a quality certificate. It is a path.
