What you do not need before the first test
No insertion order, no sales call, no retainer. A first Adprime Zero test needs an account, a matching landing page, a creative, and a prepaid funding link.

The first paid test does not start with a procurement process.
Adprime Zero is built so a founder or an agent can open an account online, fund a prepaid wallet on a hosted payment page, submit an ad, and run a small daily cap. You do not need an insertion order. You do not need a sales call. You do not need a retainer.
Those three absences are product facts, not a slogan we invented for this page. They are on the homepage, on pricing, and in the public agent docs. This page lists the rest of what you can skip, and the few things you cannot.
You do not need
An insertion order. There is no IO PDF to countersign before the first campaign. Spend comes from the prepaid balance and the daily cap you set.
A sales call. Account opening uses a six-digit email code. An agent can register through CLI or MCP and keep working against the API key.
A retainer. Early access has no monthly platform fee. You add funds before launch. You are not billed later for unfunded delivery.
A DSP seat of your own. You do not stand up The Trade Desk or a Buzz login to run this product. The product compiles campaigns onto the exchange seat it already has.
An agency brief. If you want an agent to launch, paste the Cursor prompt or a short variant from the prompt pack. If you want to click, use the dashboard.
A media plan with twelve line items. One isolated funnel at $20/day is enough to start. More cells help only when each cell has one promise. See the isolated funnel checklist.
A deal ID. Open exchange is the path we have actually flown for these tests. Private marketplaces are a different job.
An IVT certificate on day one. You should still know that without a vendor tag, IVT will read zero because nothing is measuring. Judge early flights on concentration and click-to-page-view. Do not skip the readout. Skip the fiction that zero invalid impressions means clean traffic.
You do need
A real landing URL that matches the ad. Destination checks look at the page. A homepage that tells five stories will waste the test even if review passes.
A creative (image, headline, description, disclosure) you are willing to show a stranger.
A prepaid funding step. The agent requests a link. You enter payment details on the hosted page. The agent does not collect cards.
A daily cap you mean. Optional lifetime caps must stay optional. This product had a bug where a missing lifetime cap was written as one day of budget. That is fixed. See the lifetime envelope changelog. Still type the daily number you intend.
A way to read the report. Ask for clicks plural, freshness, and visits if you have them. Do not end the first test with "the CTR looked fine."
What this is not
Skipping an IO does not skip platform checks. Creative review and destination review still run. Skipping a sales call does not skip prepaid balance. Skipping a retainer does not make remnant display a search campaign.
If you need deals, QPS templates, or a custom bidding agent before you will spend, you are not in first-test territory. That is trader work. If you are in first-test territory, open an account and keep the first cell small.
