Deals vs open exchange on a small daily budget
This child seat has historically had zero deals. We will not invent a private-marketplace result. This page is the test we still owe.
Published 2026-09-09 · Search job: private marketplace vs open exchange
A private marketplace versus the open exchange is a deal object you attach, not a setting that makes remnant cleaner by itself. This child seat has historically had zero deals. We have no judged delivery to quote. This page is a plan. It will not grow a result in the second paragraph.
If you searched for which path wins on a small daily budget, the honest answer today is: we know the open-exchange waste, and we have not flown the deal side.
What we already know on the open side
The 2026-09-02 Supply Bench pull is the open-exchange baseline we will compare against, not a PMP scorecard. 1,149 placements. 1,073 of them zero-click. Seven domains, 41.3 percent of clicks. ads.txt Unauthorized $0.48. OPENX 44 percent of spend at 0.111 percent CTR. Partial coverage: $316.64 of about $432.
That waste map is Open exchange waste, mapped by grain. A deal test that cannot beat or explain that shape is not a win.
What the test has to isolate
One creative family. One daily budget band we already traffic. A deal attached on a copy of the campaign, not a second variable on the live open-exchange line. The readout cannot be CTR. CTR is how remnant looks busy. The readout is click-to-page-view once the join exists, and strict IVT once a vendor add-on is on the creative. Until those meters exist, we will not publish a deals-won article.
QPS is a separate lever. A deal that never enters the bidder does not consume QPS. Targeting that excludes after the request arrived does not free QPS. See QPS is not targeting.
There is still no Beeswax object named supply route. A deal is one object in the pile that also includes targeting, lists, modifiers, and reports. What we mean by a supply path.
What would make this page an article
A dated window, a named deal, spend on both sides, and a grain we can repeat. Until then this file stays kind: plan. We will not fill the gap with a vendor anecdote or a main-seat deal name.
