QPS

Queries per second. How many bid requests the seat is allowed to see. Targeting does not shrink that intake by itself.

Published 2026-09-09 · Search job: QPS vs line item targeting

QPS (queries per second) is the bid-request allotment on a seat. Every auction that enters the bidder consumes it. Front-end traffic templates and filters decide which auctions enter. Line-item targeting decides which of those arrivals may bid.

That split is load-bearing. Exclude a bad placement in targeting and you stop spending on it. The request can still fill the pipe and crowd out better auctions. Reshaping intake is an account-manager change to templates or list filters. It is not a public Adprime Zero campaign field.

Buying more QPS without shaping the pipe just feeds more remnant into the same bidder. Shape first. Raise entitlement last.

We will not publish a QPS number for this product page. Seat contracts are not a buyer metric, and this glossary is not a credential sheet.
